Planet Types

After having some fun with the planet generator. I have decided on 8 different planets. The planet types are as follows:

Terran Type I
Terran Type II
Terran Type III
Lava
Ice
Barren
Gas Type I
Gas Type II

Each planet type will have a guaranteed 2 resources specific to that type and then additional random resources.

System Sizes

I have officially added system sizing to the universe generation which now directly influences the system name. Which breaks down to:

Small systems with 1 alpha character + 1 number + dash + padding (e.g. C5-JRUM)
Medium systems with 2 alpha characters + 1 number + dash + padding (e.g. CC6-OEF)
Large systems with 3 alpha characters + 1 number + dash + padding (e.g. ZXL5-GF)

So when you're looking at the overview of the map and you want to know where larger or smaller systems are, you can look at the system names and easily understand what size those systems are.

Number of Planets

System size also affects number of planets. The standard sizing for any system is a number from 4 to 6. System size (0 to 2) is then added on top of that to give total planets for a system. There is a possibility for a smaller system to have the same number of planets as a larger system, so it won't be a guaranteed thing for every system. However, a large system is guaranteed at least 6 planets, medium at least 5, and small at least 4.

I realized after running through the universe creation script that I have a lot of things to clean up. So, my focus will be that for a bit. I am additionally working on getting my feet wet with the client-side web app. This will be a slow process, but is necessary for what I need it to do. Looking forward to providing more updates as things progress!
